VMC is please to announce that our kennel is now registered with the American Boarding Kennel Association. In order to do this we had to complete over 200 detailed requirements for boarding kennels that were developed over many years. 

VMC clients can rest assured that you are entrusting your pet to the care of a dedicated team in the boarding kennel industry, and your boarding kennel meets all of the current industry standards for pet care. New clients are welcome and may board with us after having an examination and verification that all vaccinations are current.

Our prices are based on the weight of your pet. Many extras are also offered for you. When your pet is with us, you can rest assured that they will be well taken care of

Every effort is made to ensure that your pet is happy and comfortable. Under the loving care of our adult kennel staff, your pet is treated with love and compassion-just like we would treat our own pet. If extra bedding, personalized attention, or hand feeding are required for your pet, we will gladly provide it at no extra charge.  

 Boarding Policy for VMC 

Vaccination Requirements 

For your pet's protection, all vaccines must be current. We require written proof of vaccinations if received from another veterinarian. Dogs must be vaccinated for Rabies (in accordance with Harris County regulations), Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetalla .  Bordetella vaccination is required every 6 months.

Cats must be vaccinated for Rabies (in accordance with Harris County regulations), FVRCP, and a Feline Leukemia test within the last 6 months. Please not that many vaccines do not take effect for 10-14 days, so be sure your pet is vaccinated before boarding for optimal wellness. VMC does not board puppies and kittens younger than 4 months without full vaccinations.
