Dr. Angela MacFarlane is a 2005 graduate of the Texas A & M University College of Veterinary Medicine.  After graduating, she continued her training and education by completing a one year small animal medicine and surgical internship program at Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Austin , TX .  She worked one on one with board certified surgeons, internal medicine specialists, and criticalists enabling her to expand her knowledge about veterinary medicine.  After deciding to enter into general practice, she wanted to make sure she obtained a position as an associate veterinarian at a clinic that believed in and practiced the same high quality, caring medicine that she had grown accustomed to.  She joined the Veterinary Medical Center of Spring’s family in July of 2006.

Dr. MacFarlane is married to Robert MacFarlane.  Rob is a social studies high school teacher who has spent the last 4 years teaching AP Government and Economics to seniors.  He is currently taking a year off to complete his Masters degree in public school administration.  They have two kids named Bear and Abby.  Although human kids are somewhere in the future, she and her husband spend most of their time spoiling their dogs.  Bear is a 7 year old, brown, English Bulldog cross who joined their family at four days old.  After loosing his litter mate, Teddy, (yes, that makes Teddy Bear) in May of 2005, the family was heartbroken.  However, February of 2006 brought a new addition to the family.  Abby, a black Lab, was 4 weeks old when she made her way into everyone’s heart.  Even though Teddy can not be replaced, Bear and his humans have grown quite fond of Abby.  She has brought lots of love (and shedding hair) with her.

Dr. MacFarlane spends her time off with her family and friends.  They enjoy boating, watching movies, reading, and playing with the pups.
