Our treatment of choice for dogs is Sentinel®, this will control both heartworms and fleas. This treatment is for prevention of  heartworms and fleas. Before we can begin treatment your dog must be tested for heartworms. If the test is negative treatment can start immediately. Sentinel is a tablet which can be given directly into the mouth of the dog or they can be given with food.  Sentinel must be given at monthly intervals, preferable on the same date each month.  For more information on Sentinel click here.

For protection against heartworms and fleas in cats we recommend Revolution® for cats.  This product will prevent heartworm disease, kill adult fleas and prevent their eggs from hatching, treat and control ear mites, and treat hookworms and roundworms.  For more information on this product click here.
